Key Staff

Vernal Stewart
Founder, President

In 2004, Mr. Stewart founded SE3, LLC after thirty years of managing complex construction projects. Mr. Stewart’s primary career focus has been to provide core management services for major clients by supporting the design and construction of major infrastructure projects. From inception to completion, he has perfected the “art” of professional program and project management applied to capital improvement programs. Under Mr. Stewart’s leadership, SE3 delivers these services while remaining dedicated to our core values.

SE3’s philosophy and operation policies are rooted in Mr. Stewart’s lifetime in the construction industry, beginning with the his family’s business, Masonry Builders Inc., established in 1949. Mr. Stewart founded and operated Engineered Polymers Company in the heart of Kansas City, employing over 80 people for nineteen years - with 90% of the employees from the inner city. His established leadership spanning several decades within the minority community in these communities further exemplifies his recognition as a highly talented business leader.

Mr. Martin has over 20 years of experience in the professional engineering field. He specializes in high level management for both public and private roadway agencies, as well as general engineering consultant roles providing program management, design, manual and standard reviews, capital programming, overall infrastructure maintenance programming, and client support.
